HEADLINES

From the time I was old enough to walk and safely carry a firearm, I have been chasing bird dogs through fields.  I enjoy every aspect of upland hunting!  Watching my dogs work and seeing them improve to watching a covey rise or listening to the cackle of a rooster pheasant as he explodes out of the thick cover into the air.  
A few years ago we decided we would like to offer somewhere for people to come and enjoy the outdoors with their canine hunting companions at an affordable price, close to home.  
We started reclaiming a property that was previously a rock quarry and we continue to restore it to upland habitat a little at a time.  My father in law Larry, my dad Russell, my son Nick and my GSP, Black Jack Daniels make up the rest of the crew and how we came up with the name “5 Guys Uplanders”.  Clover, orchard grass, milo and buckwheat are a few of the plants we use to help feed and cover our feathered friends.  Come enjoy the fruits of our labors.
